How we support complex needs

Clinically informed, outcome-focused specialist care.

We combine structured support, strong oversight and evidence-based approaches to help stabilise placements, reduce risks and support people to achieve measurable progress.

1

Placement stability

We support individuals where placements are at risk of breakdown by reviewing needs, risks, routines and staffing requirements.

2

Step-down support

Where appropriate, we can support transition from more intensive settings into community-based or supported living arrangements.

3

Positive outcomes

Support is planned around independence, dignity, confidence, community involvement and improved quality of life.

Enhanced staffing

1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 specialist support.

Our staffing models are tailored to individual risk, complexity and assessed need, ensuring the right level of support is in place at the right time.

One-to-one care

1:1 Support

A single dedicated support worker provides continuous individualised care, guidance, structure and supervision while promoting independence, daily living skills and community engagement.

Enhanced support

2:1 Support

Two staff members provide support at the same time, allowing for increased supervision, safer risk management and consistent proactive interventions where needs are more complex.

High-intensity support

3:1 Support

Three staff members deliver intensive coordinated support for high-risk or unpredictable situations, supporting crisis stabilisation, continuity of care and safe routines.

PBS-led practice

Positive Behaviour Support and least restrictive care.

Positive Behaviour Support helps us understand behaviour as communication. This means we look beyond the behaviour itself and focus on unmet needs, triggers, environment, communication, emotional wellbeing and quality of life.

  • Person-centred and outcome-focused support planning.
  • Trauma-informed approaches that promote dignity and respect.
  • Proactive strategies to reduce triggers, escalation and restrictive practice.
  • Support that helps people exercise choice, independence and community participation.

A clear pathway from referral to mobilisation.

Our process is designed to be straightforward, responsive and focused on safe implementation.
